New Year Wishes – Welcoming 2009!!!

2008 has been a an interesting one for me with lots of activities, and I hope it was indeed the same for all of you as well. Of course, towards the fag end of the year, there was a stagnation on the activities because of the economic pull back in many parts of the world.
An interesting target that I had achieved during this year was in co-ordinating with David Musgrave and Mariano Gomez in migrating the Yahoo Groups in the name “GP_eEnterprise” into Google Groups with a change in the name to “Dynamics GP” on July 7, 2008.
It was indeed a wonderful feeling to co-ordinate with the two pillars with tons of GP expertise, in getting this done, and thanks to them, for standing by my side, lending me all the support in moving the groups. Also thanks to all the supporters of this decision, and for the ones who felt against this, I am sure you would have realized by now the potential of the new groups. If not, I am sure you would feel the same, in the days to come in 2009.
It is a heartening feeling to see close to 550 members registered in this group in the last 6 months, and it was indeed a notable achievement, just for the the fact that Yahoo Groups has been dominating this domain for quite some time. 
I hope we will see much better beginnings in 2009 and believe the new change in the administration in United States would sure make this happen, during the course of the year.
And of course, I hope to publish a lot more of interesting articles and share my experiences with GP and other Dynamics technologies in the days to come and make this blog an interesting pool of information.
