There was an issue identified last week with the 2012 year end tax update that affects T4s. This issue is being worked on and a hotfix should be available soon. The specific issue is this: Box 24 (EI Insurable Earnings) will show the 2011 rate $44,200 instead of the 2012 rate $45,900 Box 26 (CPP Pensionable Earnings) will show the 2011 rate $48,300 instead of the 2012 rate $50,100 Also, RL-1 Box G (QPP Pensionable Earnings) will show the 2011 rate $48,300 instead of the 2012 rate $50,100 These amounts will appear in the T4 edit (or RL-1 Edit) windows after running the Create T4 (RL-1) process. There are scripts you can download to fix this issue, or you can wait until the hotfix is released
Hi everyone, If you are using Personal Data Keeper (PDK) you have probably seen a Get/Change message whose More Info button displays the error “ Number of results columns doesnt match table definition .” There are a number of errors that can cause that More Info message such as: A get/change operation on table ‘UPR_MSTR_Tax_Info failed accessing SQL data A get/change operation on ‘GL_Account_MSTR’ failed accessing SQL Data A get/change operation on table ‘UPR_MSTR’ failed accessing SQL data A get/change first operation on table ‘MC_Currency_SETP’ failed accessing SQL data A get/change first operation on table ‘PDK_Employee_Expense_HDR’ failed accessing SQL data A get/change operation on table ‘P_CPY_SETP_Income’ failed accessing SQL data A get/change first operation on table ‘P_CPY_MSTR’ failed accessing SQL data But what they all mean is that the version of Microsoft Dynamics GP and the version of PDK being used are not compatible. What is compatible? Here is a cheat sheet I created for my team that I wanted to share so you can use it to verify that the versions you are using play nicely together
